Rachel is the founder of Root & Bloom and Panhandle Nutrition Therapy. For more than eight years, her work has centered on women’s and children’s health, with special interests in preconception care, fertility nutrition, pregnancy complications, hyperemesis gravidarum, postpartum replenishment, breastfeeding support, and infant health.
She practices with a food-first mentality, translating evidence into plans that are feasible, sustainable, and deeply personalized. Her goal is to help each client understand the why behind a recommendation and feel equipped to make informed decisions alongside their medical team.
Rachel’s office is a judgment-free place. Shared decision-making and a real-life perspective guide every care plan.
Book with RachelWhy Root & Bloom
The root system in the brand mark represents the less-visible foundations that influence how women and children grow: nourishment, metabolic health, cycle physiology, gut health, early-life programming, and family context.
Recommendations are grounded in current research and clinical evidence—not fleeting wellness trends.
We look at nutrient status, metabolic health, physiology, and daily realities to build a stronger base.
Nutrition does not exist in isolation. Your history, preferences, capacity, and goals all matter.
You deserve to understand your body and choices—not simply receive another list of rules.
The first 1,000 days
Root & Bloom focuses on the connected journey from preconception through pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, and infancy. Supporting the woman and the child together makes care more coherent, more practical, and better aligned with family goals.
